YISF Festival Launch Event 2026 7:00pm Dr. Anne-Marie Evans in Conversation with Festival Artist in Residence, Lisa Wolpe 8:30pm With Love's Light Wings Tuesday 22nd April, 7:00pm-9:30pm - York St John University Creative Centre Tickets for this event are available in a range of prices to reflect a Pay What You Can structure - please choose the option that suits you. All seating is general admission. £22 Above Standard £15 Standard £15 Pass It On! (purchase a ticket for a member of our refugee and asylum seeker community who would otherwise be unable to attend this event) £10 Reduced £5 Concession (typically this is our price available for students and those currently unwaged) £1.50 Minimum (this price covers the booking fee of the ticket and for this event is an option of ticket price) **All tickets purchased online come with a 10% processing charge. Tickets purchased in person are not subject to this charge but availability of tickets is not guaranteed. This event will start at 7:00pm in the Atrium at the Creative Centre, with Lisa Wolpe and Dr. Anne-Marie Evans. There will be a brief interval and then audiences will be invited into the auditorium for With Love's Light Wings, which runs 55 minutes with no interval.

On each of our events we offer a ticket option called Pass It On! If you purchase any number of these tickets, we will gratefully pass them on to people who otherwise would be unable to attend due to financial barriers, with a special focus on refugees and asylum seekers. Would you like to be considered for a Pass It On! ticket? Contact us at info@yorkshakes.co.uk --- All tickets for our events have an added 10% to help cover our ticket processing surcharge. Tickets purchased in person are not subject to this charge, but we cannot guarantee availability without booking in advance. --- There is a hearing loop and a limited number of wheelchair spaces available at this venue. We understand - things happen. If you are no longer able to attend we ask that you let us know as far in advance as possible so we can re-sell your ticket.
