Tickets purchased in person are not subject to this charge but availability of tickets is not guaranteed. Running time is 30 minutes without an interval Hags, hauntings, hobgoblins and more emerge from the spooky suitcase owned by Lady Macbeth (Dotty to her friends). These spectres from performances past need to retell their stories before they can find peace in the literary afterlife. But are they friends or will we need to be vanquished back into the supernatural suitcase? Join Hoglets Theatre for a funny, energetic and unique children’s theatre experience; a world of hand-made puppets, music and storytelling, all performed from a single suitcase. This production is aimed at primary children - and no prior knowledge of Shakespeare is required! The production is designed to be a fun, silly, “spooky” show - with no jump scares, but as we’re covering Macbeth, and Hamlet amongst others, there will be mentions of death and murder, ghosts, witches and monsters. All children are different so please consider this when booking. Written, constructed and performed by Gemma Curry (with some help from William Shakespeare) Music by Andy Curry Special thanks to Judith Hope, York Theatre Royal, Lindsay Glover at York Explore Libraries.
