Malvolio from Twelfth Night was done notorious wrong; so-much-so that he swore to be revenged on the whole pack of those that carried out their campaign of cruel bullying and emotional torture. The Whirligig of Time sees us catch up with Malvolio as he relates, with a great deal of satisfaction, how skilfully he has kept his word. In this new production from Tortive Theatre (Shakespeare's Fool, A Boy Called Anne) Robin Leetham takes to the stage as one of literature's best loved/loathed characters as he demonstrates that he who laughs last, laughs longest. From the creative team that brought you the hit, five-star Edinburgh Fringe show, Shakespeare's Fool, Tortive Theatre returns with another spectacular one-actor performance that will delight and intrigue audiences of all ages as they are presented with the events of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night through the prism of a wronged and much-maligned servant. "Leetham is extraordinary as Malvolio..." ★★★★★ All Edinburgh Theatre "Whirligig is never less than a feast for the linguistic senses..." ★★★★★ BroadwayBaby.com
